If you speak some Spanish call the Asepaleco office at (506) 2650 - 0607 directly. If you your Spanish is a little rusty give David a call at (506) 2650-0950 and we will be glad to SET YOU UP FOR AN OVERNIGHT STAY AT KAREN MOGENSEN PRESERVE.. ASEPALECO - Current rate is $50 USA including meals per day. You donÃ´t have to walk up on foot like me in this movie you can also go up to the Lodge on horseback!!  ItÃ´s great fun and the entrance to Karen Mogensen Preserve is only 30 minutes from Brisas La Tigra.

The Ecological Association of Paquera, Lepanto and Cobano (ASEPALECO) is named after local districts in the Nicoya Peninsula. With it's office in Jicaral, ASEPALECO owns and operates the Karen Mogensen Reserve (900 Hectares) and the Escondio (Hidden) Lodge.  Take a look at our walk through the forest to the wonderful waterfalls of the Preserve and finally a well deserved break at the Lodge with a final surprise guest!!
